Mount alentejan is a property of 28+ hectares, fully fenced, with olive trees, cork trees and some fruit trees. It has a main house of 460m², and a separate building of 157m². The property has 4 bedrooms and 4 ½ bathrooms
It is located 3km from the village of Azinheira dos Barros, Grandola – 130km south of Lisbon via the A2 highway. The property is 7km from the A2 highway access – 1hr 20mins from Lisbon Airport and 1hr 40mins from Faro International Airport. Situated 20km south of Grandola, it is 30-40 minute drive to the Alentejo beaches of Costa Azul – Melides, and Carvalhal.

The exterior of the buildings was designed to capture the traditional architecture of Alentejo, while the interior of the main house is of contemporary design, with spacious open-plan living areas. It features a large kitchen – designed and installed by Fabri of Lisbon – including built-in double ovens, electric induction cook-top, elegant stainless metal exhaust fan/chimney, microwave, dishwasher, and an American style refrigerator/freezer with water and ice dispensers. The counter tops are of ‘blue pearl’ granite, and include a separate island with sink and a breakfast bar. The main dining area has wall-mounted glass-fronted cabinets, plus additional under-counter glass-fronted cabinets. There is a secondary dining/breakfast area. The living room area has an enclosed fireplace.

There is a wet-bar with refrigerator, granite counter tops matching those in the kitchen, and under-counter drawers and cabinets. An office area has provision for internet connection, and sliding glass doors to the patio. It has direct access to the visitor cloakroom/bathroom, a mud-room and outside door. Floors are tiled with white Brazilian marble.

The main house has 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. All bedroom suites accommodate a sitting area and king-size bed. The main bedroom suite has sliding glass doors to the patio, and four walk-in closets. The bathroom has two marble wash basins, double walk-in showers and a large, tiled bath.
