St Laurent du Var continues to attract buyers for its family oriented lifestyle and quiet, peaceful environment. It is conveniently positioned between the sea and the mountains and contains one of the most popular shopping centres in the Alpes Maritimes, Cap 3000. Here you will find all the big name brand stores as well as some good restaurants and cafes outside overlooking the beach. The beaches are clean and well facilitated and you can take part in a variety of water sports and water-based activities such as kite surfing, kite sailing, swimming, fishing and snorkelling.
The old town is beautiful, with narrow cobblestone streets and quaint little apartments with wrought iron balconies displaying colourful flowers and fragrant herbs. You will also find the Hotel de Ville, a stunning piece of architecture on perfectly manicured grounds.
Nice is just 10.4 km away via the A8 motorway. The famous Promenade Des Anglais (Walkway of the English) is a wonderful place to walk, cycle or run and see the beautiful city on one side and the calm, picturesque ocean on the other.
