Théoule sur Mer is located 12 km from Cannes along the seaside and 25 km from Saint Raphael. It is a rather exceptional site known to have one of the most beautiful beaches on the Riviera. Sitting at the foot of the massif of L’Estérel with beautiful creeks and illustrious red rocks, along with fine sandy beaches, a pretty marina and numerous cycling paths, it truly is a breath taking setting. Théoule has exceptionally stunning views over the bay of Cannes and the islands of Lérins, as well as the mountainous massifs of the Estérel going further west. Numerous villas and properties nestled on the hill overlook the bay and boast panoramic views.
The harbour and beaches are pristine, with activities such as snorkelling, swimming, diving, kite surfing and kite sailing there is always something to keep you occupied. There are some lovely beachside restaurants and cafes where you can sip on some wine, nibble on olives and stare out at the magnificent view.
If you don’t mind a slight drive, you can visit Cannes, which is located only 13.2 km away. Cannes is perhaps one of the most popular destinations on The Riviera, with its combination of luxury, beauty and glamour. The Croisette famously offers luxury shopping, exclusive bars and restaurants and exquisite sandy beaches. Nice on the other hand is just over 45 km km away via the A8 motorway. The famous Promenade Des Anglais (Walkway of the English) is a wonderful place to walk, cycle or run and see the beautiful city on one side and the calm, picturesque ocean on the other. Do as the locals do and sit at a café and people watch, or sit in the perfectly placed seats and benches and gaze out over the endless Mediterranean ocean. The Old Town is a must-see, with its numerous historical sites, cafés, quaint restaurants and the famous flower market selling not only a bright array of blooms, but fruit, vegetables, spices and other Provençal delicacies.
Théoule is located 45 km from Nice Cote d’Azur International Airport. There is also has a train station where you can reach Cannes in just 15 minutes.
