Legal: Schedule 2 Disclosures

 

Worldwide Property Company Limited (the “Company”) is a regulated business, supervised by the Jersey Financial Services Commission pursuant to Schedule 2 of the Proceeds of Crime (Jersey) Law 1999 (“Schedule 2”). The Company is regulated solely for the purpose of undertaking the activities of a real estate agent services business in or from within Jersey as set out in Schedule 2.  

 

For the avoidance of doubt, the Company is not regulated to provide any other service that falls within the scope of activities listed within Schedule 2, including but not limited to:

 

  1. investment business services;
  2. mortgage brokerage services; 
  3. investment advisory business services;
  4. lending services; 
  5. insurance or insurance mediation business services;
  6. money broking services; or
  7. financial or legal advisory services.

 

The Company may from time to time liaise with 3rd party professionals (each a “3rd Party Professional”) to provide services that fall within the scope of activities listed within Schedule 2. Where the Company liaises with any 3rd Party Professional: 

 

  1. the services performed by the 3rd Party Professional will not in any way be deemed to be services performed by the Company; and
  2. the Company will not be supervised by the Jersey Financial Services Commission for the performance of the 3rd Party Professional’s services.

 

All customers of the Company acknowledge that, by instructing the Company, the disclosures set out above form part of the Company’s terms of business, [ a copy of which are available [upon request] at [URL].
