This picturesque village is family friendly, and full of authentic Alpine charm with a fairly pedestrianized village centre. The resort carries the “Famille Plus Montagne”, meaning that children are welcome and very well catered for. The varying slopes are suitable for all levels from beginners up to advanced skiers and snowboarders with 23 lifts, 3 snow parks and a total of 107 km to explore. There are 3 green slopes, 29 blue slopes, 28 red and 9 black as well as 14 draglifts, 26 chairlifts, 3 cables cars and 5 mountain lifts for those who enjoy taking in the spectacular scenery with long walks in the summertime.

As with all the resorts in the Portes du Soleil ski area, Les Gets is linked via easily accessible ski lifts and gondolas, granting access to more than 600 km of ski slopes. With exceptional views overlooking the Mont Blanc, visitors are in for a real treat. The numerous activities include snowshoeing, tobogganing, cross country tracks, visiting the little farms and farm stalls nearby, taking a well-deserved break at the spa, paragliding, ice-skating on the attractive village ice-rink and ten-pin bowling. There is a fantastic apres-ski atmosphere with a wide array of restaurants, bars, shops, spas and a cinema showcasing movies in English. Summertime is just as lively with an 18-hole golf course, mountain biking trails, hiking as well as village fetes and festivals, which take place throughout the year. If you are travelling with children, there are many facilities both within the village and on the piste such as a snow garden, the “Grand Cry Territory” themed ski area, the Mauve Milka ski run, a videopark and snowpark.

At a little over an hour’s drive from Geneva airport, Les Gets is easily accessible and even has a free shuttle service running through the village.
