This resort is located in the Savoie department, with 120 km of Nordic ski trails, and varied terrain for beginners and more experienced skiers. It is part of the Espace Diamant ski area and includes the following 6 French ski resorts: Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, Flumet, Crest Voland Cohennoz, Hauteluce and Praz sur Arly. The relevant ski lift pass will give visitors access to a total of 186 km of downhill ski slopes, 226 pistes, 7 snow parks and 3 boardercrosses, all served by 136 ski lifts. There are 16 black pistes, 70 red, 91 blue and 49 green making the area conveniently suitable for all abilities. Les Saises is situated at 1,650m altitude, and there are 80 km of cross country pistes, 70 km of downhill pistes with black, red, blue and green runs. These runs are served by 24 ski lifts in total. The slopes are great for both beginners and experienced skiers and the resort is particularly highly rated for snowboarding.

Les Saises offers exquisite panoramic views of the Mont Blanc and surrounds. There are plenty of activities such as tobogganing, dog sledding, zip lining, paragliding, ice climbing, hiking, mountain biking, archery and fishing to name but a few. Local entertainment staff organise weekly shows and events with a wide range of activities for the whole family to enjoy. There is a kid’s club with registered child minders to look after the little ones. The La Signal leisure centre has a variety of activities such as squash, gym, bowling and Jacuzzi. The après ski atmosphere is pretty good, with a variety of restaurants and bars that hold live music events. You will also find some good shops, spas and services including a post office, ATM, foreign exchange, medical facilities and patisserie.

Getting there is easy enough as Chambery airport is only a 1-hour drive from the resort.
