2. Our Role & Services
Worldwide Property Co. provides international property sourcing and financing introduction services to clients purchasing luxury residential and investment properties primarily in France, Spain, Portugal, and Mauritius.
Our role varies depending on the nature of the engagement, and it is important that clients understand the basis on which we operate.
Property Services
In relation to property, we operate in one of two ways:
- Direct representative — where we work in direct partnership with a developer, we act as their authorised sales representative and assist clients through the purchase process.
- Introducer — where we work alongside third-party estate agents and brokers, we act as an introducer, connecting clients with agents who hold listings across the wider market. In these cases, any subsequent relationship, contract, or transaction is between the client and the relevant agent or developer directly.
Financing Services
In relation to financing, we act solely as an introducer. We do not provide mortgage or financial advice of any kind. Depending on a client’s circumstances and requirements, we may introduce them to one of the following:
- A mortgage adviser — an independently operating, appropriately regulated professional who will conduct their own assessment and provide advice in accordance with their regulatory obligations.
- A private bank — who will engage with the client directly, carry out their own due diligence, and provide any relevant advice under their own regulatory framework and terms.
Any advice, recommendation, or product offered in connection with a financing introduction is provided entirely by the introduced party. Worldwide Property Co. accepts no responsibility for the advice given, the suitability of any product, or the outcome of any financing arrangement.
What We Are Not
Worldwide Property Co. does not act as, and should not be treated as:
- A lender or financial institution
- A mortgage adviser or independent financial adviser
- A legal adviser, notary, or solicitor
- A tax adviser or accountant
- A surveyor or property valuer
- A regulated entity under the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any equivalent UK, EU, or international regulatory body
