Located on the Costa Tropical, this resort has a traditional village that sits atop a hill with roads winding their way down to the coast. There are 19 km of coastline with sandy beaches and hidden coves to explore. Water-based activities such as sailing, wind-surfing, kite-surfing, diving, snorkelling are on offer as well as an Aquatropic water park. There are plenty of historical monuments to visit, such as the Moorish castle and the old watch towers which can be found scattered along the coastline. Majuelo park is a beautiful public garden, which has many open air concerts during the summer months. There is also an archaeological museum that may be of interest to some visitors. As well as having some good shops and markets, there are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes serving local cuisine including the delicious tapas Spanish wines. The nearest major airport is Malaga Costa del Sol Airport and is approximately 90 km away.
