On the right bank, and not particularly popular with tourists. This district is mainly residential but does have some fantastic craft shops and street markets, such as the food market on Rue Poncelet. Fresh fruit and vegetables, rotisserie chicken, butchers and boulangeries are just some of the stalls you can find within the market. One museum of interest is the Musee National Jean-Jacques Henner, who was a 19th century artist. The museum itself is a beautiful 19th century mansion, filled with Henner’s artwork and has a lovely little private garden to stroll through.
