There are numerous street markets, selling curio’s arts and crafts as well as delicious local foods and produce. Popular dishes include foie gras, duck, Mogettes (local green beans), brioche and custard tarts. Vendee benefits from a microclimate, with warm and sunny weather for the majority of the year.
