This beautiful city is famous for its stretches of gorgeous Mediterranean beaches with dunes and footpaths as well as miles of vineyards. The weekly markets are always lovely to explore and there is a fresh produce market held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:00 – 12:30 where you will find locally grown fruit, vegetables as well as handmade goods and souvenirs. The beaches are pristine with good facilities and activities such as fishing, swimming, diving, kite surfing and wind surfing. There is a wide selection of restaurants and bars as well as all the necessary amenities such as a post office, ATM and medical facilities.
There are many events and festivities throughout the year, although summer is the busiest season with a popular night market in held throughout July and August. Here you will find food and wine tastings as well as delightful musical entertainment. The Paratge celebrations in June are a feast for the eyes, with fireworks, music concerts, and street entertainment. Getting to Sérignan is easy enough, with the closest airport being Beziers Cap d’Agde at a distance of 12 km via the D64 and D612 motorway. Alternatively Montpellier airport is located at a distance of 76 km via the A9 motorway. If you travel by rail there is a TGV train station in the city centre.
