This resort is located within the Grand Massif ski area, and with the relevant ski lift pass gives access to the other four resorts (Morillon, Flaine, Les Carroz and Sixt Fer a Cheval), with 265 km of slopes (22 green, 61 blue, 49 red and 13 black) serviced by 72 lifts. The resort itself sits at 1 600m and has 33 km of pistes with a total of 23 runs ranging from green right through to black. As most of the slopes are north-facing, the snow conditions are excellent with abundant snowfall throughout the season. Aside from skiing and snowboarding, winter activities include ice climbing, speed riding, paragliding, snowmobiling and helicopter rides. Summer activities include hiking, mountain biking and mountain climbing. The resort is child-friendly and has a range of childcare options for visitors to take advantage of. There are a good selection of restaurants and bars with live music. The village itself was once an old farming village and is truly charming with a very traditional Alpine feel to it and panoramic views across the glorious Mont Blanc. This resort is located 50 minute from Geneva airport and around 15 minutes from Cluses train station.
