This resort is located in south-eastern France, in the Rhone Alps region. It is linked to Saint Nicolas, Megeve and other Ski Pass Mont Blanc resorts, giving guests the opportunity to ski around 490 pistes in total with the relevant ski pass. St Gervais itself has 47 pistes (red, green, blue and black), with 65 km downhill and 40 km cross-country pistes, serviced by a total of 27 ski lifts. The resort altitude is 850m and the highest lift goes up to 2,350m. With skiing above 2 000m, this guarantees early season snowfall and snow late into the ski season. The slopes are perfect for beginner and intermediate skiers as well as snowboarders.

Saint Gervais les Bains is more than 4,000 years old and full of history, so there are plenty of cultural events and activities as well as museums to visit. The village is very attractive, with Alpine style chalets and hotels. There is a beautiful little church and the views are spectacular, looking out to the grand Mont Blanc. There is a spa, indoor heated pool, casino, restaurants as well as shops and services such as medical facilities, ATM, patisserie, post office and foreign exchange. The spa and wellness centre offers treatments such as Balneotherapy, massage, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The apre ski atmosphere is lively and there is often live music, parties and organised events. Visitors can also take advantage of activities such as paragliding, ice skating, ski Joëring, snow shoe hikes, thermal baths, bungee jumping, mini golf and tennis to name a few.

This is a family friendly resort and carries the “Famille Plus” label, meaning it has many facilities and regular entertainment and events for both children and adults. Getting to Saint Gervais les Bains is easy and there are no less than seven airports within two hour’s drive. Annecy airport is the closest at just one hour’s drive.
