This ski area includes 2 resorts, namely: La Rosiere and La Thuile. The relevant ski pass will allow visitors to access 286 km of pistes with 156 slopes (6 green, 38 blue, 67 red and 45 black) all served by 53 ski lifts. Skiing and snowboarding is practically guaranteed throughout the season, with pistes reaching above 2,500m in altitude. La Thuille is better geared towards advanced skiers and snowboarder, whereas La Rosiere is perfect for beginners. La Thuille village is small and charming, with shops, restaurants and all the necessary services and facilities. For apre-ski there are some bars, which liven up in the early evenings and some will organise live music events.

La Rosiere is a beautiful, picture-postcard perfect village, with a variety of leisure activities and facilities such as ice skating, ten-pin bowling, cinema, guided village tours and the Altispa, which has a sauna, Jacuzzi and massage treatments for visitors to enjoy. The resort carries the β€œFamille plus” label, making it completely child-friendly with a day-care center and activities and events organised throughout the year, such as themed games and animations. The apre-ski atmosphere is good, and some of the bars will stay open till quite late.

Aside from skiing and snowboarding, winter sports and activities in both resorts include Snake Gliss and sledging, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, winter walking trails, dog sledding, paragliding, snow kiting, ice driving, ice diving and taking helicopter tours. In the summer, the resorts are just as lively with activities including mountain biking, trail runs, hiking, golf, rock climbing, horse riding, white water rafting, tennis, archery and fishing. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and services including a post office, ATM, foreign exchange, medical facilities and patisserie.

Getting to Espace San Bernado is easy, as the nearest airports are Geneva and Turin, approximately two hours’ drive away.
